| Habitat: | Northern wet forest, just south of creek, were the vast majority of the canopy is composed of Thuja occidentalis and Tsuga canadensis. There are also some rather large Pinus strobus in the canopy. The subcanopy is made up of Thuja occidentalis Tsuga canadensis, and Taxus canadensis, and even though it is the beginning of March, I did not see any signs of deer browsing on the subcanopy trees and shrubs, which is allowing for fine regeneration. |
