Habitat: Northern mesic hardwood forest with some conifers. Canopy consisting of Acer rubrum, Acer saccharum, Ostrya virginiana, Tilia americana, Prunus serotina, and a smattering of Tsuga canadensis. The subcanopy is made up predominantly of Abies balsamea, Corylus americana, Corylus cornuta, Dirca palustris, and Lonicera canadensis. Disturbed area near a trail leading through the woods.
