Habitat: Northern mesic hardwoods. Canopy consisting of Populus tremuloides, Picea glauca, Prunus serotina, Tilia americana, Betula alleghaniensis, and Fraxinus americana. Subcanopy includes Corylus spp., Sambucus racemosa, Dirca palustris, & Lonicera canadensis.
