| Habitat: | Mesic hardwood forest. This area has recently (within the last 5 years) been clear cut in areas and selectively cut in other areas. There is a lot of brush lying around. Where the area was selectively cut, the canopy consists of Tsuja canadensis, Betula allegheniensis, Populus tremuloides, Populus grandidenta, Betula paperifera, Tilia americana, Acer rubrum, Pinus strobus, and some Quercus rubra. Where the area was clear cut, early succession Populus tremuloides and Betula paperifera dominate. | |
