| Habitat: | Abundant amount of Quercus bicolor in the area. Many trees with greater than 12 inch DBH's. Regenerating naturally. Low laying flood plain along the river. Quercus macrocarpa also present. Shrub layer consists of Corylus spp and Viburnum lentago. Smilax herbacea L present. Ground layer consists mostly of ferns; inlcuing Osmunda regalis var spectabilis (Willd.) A gray, Onoclea sensibilis L, and Matteuccis struthiopteris (L.) Todaro var pensylvanica (Willd.) C.V. |
