The canopy is formed by Acer saccharum, Tsuja canadensis, Pinus strobus, Tilia american, Fraxinus americana, Betual allegheniensis, and Populus balsamifera. Shrub layer mainly Corylus cornuta. Groundcover speices include Maianthemum canadense, Lycopodium spp. and Aster macrophylus.
