Habitat: Wet clay soil, about 50% sun. With Carex crinita, Gylceria striata, G. grandis, Onoclea sensibilis, Rumex obtusifolia, and Pteridium aquilinum.  Population of about 20 flowering plants and numerous rosettes on power corridor. Flowersheads pink-purple. Part 1 of 3 (UWSP).
Collecting Event: Collected as part of an invasive plant survey, conducted by Great Lakes Indian Fish & Wildlife Commission, Odanah, WI.
