| Leaf: | basal leaves thin, pale green, mostly smooth, roundish to kidney-shaped; stem leaves mostly 1/2"-1 1/2" wide, round with a heart-shaped base |

| Notes: | very similar to V. adunca except the spur is shorter, the stipules are wider and bristly-toothed more than half their length, and the plant is hairless |
