Plant: erect, perennial, 4"-16" tall, aromatic forb
Flower: head 1/3 -3/4" wide with only yellow disk flowers; inflorescence with 5-12 heads in a dense cluster; blooms July-Aug.
Leaf:many, softly hairy, 2"-8" long and less than half as wide, 6-24 pairs of feathery, pinnate divisions
Habitat: Lake Michigan shores
