Flower: head 1/4" - 1/3" wide, yellow disk flowers and no rays; inflorescence of 8-20 heads in a loose, branched cluster; blooms April-Dec.
Fruit:dry seed on fluffy pappus
Leaf:with coarse, irregular teeth and/or pinnately-divided
Habitat: disturbed sites
