Flower: white to orange, tiny, 4 -5 stamens; inflorescence a slender spadix with a 4"-8" elongated, green spathe which only partially covers the spadix
Fruit:cluster of brown berries
Leaf:long-stalked, basal, pinnately-veined, arrow-shaped
Habitat: swamps, shallows
