Plant: erect, perennial, 1'-3' tall forb; stems branched, smooth; roots fibrous
Flower: white, 5-parted; inflorescence a 2" loose, irregular, compound umbels with few-flowered umbellets; blooms June-July
Fruit:dry, splitting into 2 seeds, - fruit:fruit drawing seed:seed drawing
Leaf:3-parted with sharp, irregular teeth, sometimes lobed; lower leaves on long stalks
Habitat: shade; dry; woods
