Status: Native
Plant: erect, perennial, 1'-4' tall forb
Flower: head white to yellow, 3/8" wide; inflorescence clusters of heads at the ends of the branches; blooms June-Sept.
Fruit:dry seed without fluffy pappus
Leaf:up to 12" long; oblong, pinnately-lobed, oak-like, the stalk often winged only near the stem, mostly opposite
Habitat: moist; woods, forests, cliffs
