Caesalpiniaceae: Senna

Leaves alternate, with stipules, pinnately once- or twice-compound. Flowers with one simple pistil which becomes the legume pod fruit. Flowers zygomorphic of 5 free or fused sepals and 5 free petals with 5-10 stamens.
