Apocynaceae: Dogbane

Leaves opposite, simple, entire. Plant mostly with acrid milky juice. Flowers with 5 parts, the corolla in tubes with lobes overlapping at the base. Flowers often in clusters of small, nodding, bell-shaped flowers. Fruit is often a long narrow capsule.
