Apiaceae: Parsley or Carrot

Aromatic plants with hollow, furrowed stems. Leaves usually compound and/or feathery with stalk sheathing stem. Many 5-parted usually white or yellow, flowers mostly in compound umbels. Petals separate with stamens alternate to the petals.
