Status: Introduced - locally established
Plant: erect, perennial, 4"-14" tall forb with milky juice
Flower: head 1/2" wide with the yellow rays with a blunt, toothed tip; inflorescence of one head on long curved stalk arising from base of plant; blooms June-Sept.
Fruit:dry seed on fluffy pappus
Leaf:basal, hairy, usually with shallow lobes
Habitat: lawns, disturbed sites
