In Wisconsin: Apostle Islands National Lakeshore; Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest; Black River, Flambeau River, and Northern Highlands-American Legion State Forests; Menominee, Lac du Flambeau, Red Cliff, and Bad River Indian Reservations; Door County Islands; and St. Croix National Scenic Riverway. In Michigan: Isle Royale National Park, Huron Islands, Trap Hills (Ottawa National Forest), Keweenaw Peninsula, and Grand Traverse Islands in Lake Michigan.
